The task requires that, by faith, you trust a future known to me. It is to be discovered by you on my terms for my purpose. I require two things of you before the journey of discovery begins. First, constantly maintain the position I taught you—pray humbly surrendered in my presence, seeking me intently at each step, and confessing and turning from sin as I make you aware of it. Second, commit now, by faith, to act obediently when I direct it. Trust me. My instructions will be clear, but your comfortable ways will be challenged. Here is my promise: you will look back upon what you experience as a clear-water river flowing through a desert and you will know it was I who did it.
Isaiah 43:18-19
But forget the former things—it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.
Philippians 3:13-14
No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
Tuesday - September 29th
It is a good morning to think about my love for you. Dwell on my words. Allow them to soak into your mind. You need not prove yourself to me. Nothing you can do will make me love you more than I do. Relax into the truth of my love and stop trying to earn it. Simply accept it.

Ephesians 3:17-19
